Several milestones in the history of Slaný football:
1907 – foundation of SK Slaný,
1919 – opening of the own field “Na Střelnici”,
1959 – renamed to TJ ČKD Slaný,
1968 – move to the new stadium Za nádražím, now an athletic stadium,
1986 – opening of the new football field with a stand, now the main field,
1994/1995 season – the last relegation from the division to the regional championship.
Since the last relegation from the division, SK Slaný has mostly played in the regional championship, but in some years, they played in the 1st A and 1st B classes. Currently, SK Slaný is striving to promote to the division.

Teams
Men’s A team
The adult men’s team plays in the regional championship, and our goal is to promote to the division. About half of the team consists of homegrown and young, promising football players. The rest are players, mostly from higher divisions. Coaches: Jiří Pazdera and Libor Urban. Team leader: Milan Šůr
Men’s B team
The men’s B team plays in the 1st B class. The goal is to have promising young football players in the squad, as well as those from the A team who are not currently playing for the A team. The B team trains together with the A team. Coaches: Radim Vavroch, Radek Šaroch – coach
Under 19 Team
The U19 team participates in the regional championship. Coach: Jiří Doležal. Team leader: Miroslav Pospíšil
Under 17 Team
The U17 team participates in the regional championship. Coach: Pavel Čablík
Under 15 Team – Older students
The U15 team plays in the regional championship. In this youth category, SK Slaný faces the problem of a lack of players. Coach: Aleš Steinbrecher. Team leader: Rosťa Ježek
Under 13 A Team
The U13 A team plays in the regional championship. This group has been together since the youth training stages, and SK Slaný sees great potential for higher age categories. Head coach: Milan Lukeš
U13 B Team
The U13 B team plays in the district championship and serves as a potential reserve for the U13 A team in the regional championship. Coaches: Miloslav Jochman and Jiří Balla
U11 A Team
The U11 A team trains together with the older youth teams, from which it is sometimes supplemented by younger age groups. The U11 A team plays in the district competition. Coach: Jaroslav Janáč
U13 A & B Teams
The U13 teams are coached by Ms. Dana Riegerová, a former league football player. Both teams, A and B, train together and compete in district leagues.

U9 B Team
The U9 B team started playing in the district competition in the 2018/2019 season. Head coach: Karel Dvořák
Pre-Youth Team
The Pre-Youth team is coached by Ms. Dana Riegerová, a former league football player. Both teams, A and B, train together and play in the district leagues.

Veterans Team
The Veterans Team competes in the Veterans League and usually ranks among the top positions. It consists of former players of SK Slaný.
